the wife is retiring
Looks like my blog is short-lived. If you notice the about me section, i wrote that i started this blog because my husband wouldn't let me join in on his. Thats true. Recently, Clay started catbearrabbit.blogspot.com and i wanted in. I wanted it to be ours together. Well, he wouldn't let me!!! i begged and begged but he didn't want any writing, only good images. So... i started my old one back up. I was proud of the two posts i had done and told Clay to look. Wouldn't you know it, now he wants us to do cat bear rabbit together. I told him NO immediately and that i liked my blog. But after a few days of him begging and even sitting me down for a serious discussion today (in order to recruit me for a SUPERBLOG), i am almost sad to say i am going to give up bricklayers wife and join him on Cat Bear Rabbit. After discussing "jurisdiction", i will mainly write and he will still do most of the images. I think ill leave bricklayers wife online for a bit just in case his dream of a superblog (our forces/talents combined) falls short ;) So from now on, faithful readers (meaning Faye and Jen, the only ones that know about it), catch me on Cat Bear Rabbit (www.catbearrabbit.blogspot.com)

Eula B.
I will go as far back to talk about our little Eula B. Clay and Staughty have gone to a roller derby, leaving me in a rare place, hanging out with my little Eula. She is such special thing. I'm sure that all proud parents say that and i am one. But unlike some proud parents, one thing i will not do on this blog is speak from my child's perspective. Let me just say that may be one of top peeves.... anyways...
Eula Beatrice Chapman was born 2 weeks "late" (can they really determine your exact due date anyways?!) on May 22nd 2009. 6:38 am 9 lbs, 5 ozs. Such a wonderful birth that one day i will try to share in more detail. She was born in a tub after 6 hours. and i was so so excited to see that i had my little girl. She is even more wonderful than i could have imagined. laid back, a funny little bird because she only squawks. i love it. We are at the place now where she coos and squeals too. But if she squawks, i know she means business. i am having such fun with her. I dont know if its a second child thing, but i am so much more laid back this time, i haven't written a thing down as far as schedule goes and she is doing just fine. ends up in our bed most nights, goes everywhere with me in a sling and thrives in there. Right now she is squawking for me to pay attention with her. i must go attend to my little bird. (top picture is most recent of Eula with our friend Esme Adams)
Gotta start somewhere...
this blog thing.. not so sure about this... i think that when i think of doing a blog i feel like im supposed to start back when we got married or at least had staughty and then it feels overwhelming. in fact, i started this blog when i found about about staughty and then dropped it. i dont even know what happened to the few posts i had. this was the original name, maybe ill keep it, maybe ill change it. but ive got to start somewhere. so here is my life now. so here we go.
